What Would Wovoka Do?

Many Small Victories, to Equal a Large Success: Tribal people have been maintaining rituals (sweat lodge, fasting, smudging, etc.) engineered to elevate harmony and clarity for thousands of years.  Although each method of purification has its’ own energy and function, the intent is usually the same.  Ceremonial cleansings are designed to open hidden doors to self-awareness and neutrality when needed.  So, if that sounds like something you need for your balance, learn to take of yourself. Stop waiting for someone else to get you sorted out.

Another thing, talking about greatness and physically doing something of great importance are two very different ways of living.  We all know the cats that only ever talk about shit, but do nothing.  No one wants to hang with those dudes, not really.  Be a person of substance, be a doer.  That will get your further down your path than anything else.  Finding your own rituals and habits that work for you, are the spiritual cross-fit exercises to a higher self, and in order to be a warrior of light, you must act upon your beliefs and intuition…again, no one can do it for you!

Think of purification, smudging, fasting, etc. as preparation for the big game.  Releasing your burdens through physical purification realigns your body’s natural rhythm with the natural world.  You are a whole person; release the wandering mind, by attending to the restless and often neglected body or vice versa.  Less talk, more action.  When you get distracted or lazy and need a role model, think to yourself: What Would Wovoka Do?
